Summer’s just around the corner and while the sunshine lifts our spirits, it can also leave skin feeling parched, dull, or depleted. At Naturale Goddace, we believe your skincare should be a ritual of replenishment, not just a routine. And summer is the perfect time to lean into moisture-rich habits that help your skin stay soft, radiant, and healthy-looking all season long.
Here’s how to prep your skin for sunny days ahead—gently, intentionally, and glow-fully.
1. Exfoliate Once a Week to Brighten and Renew
Dry patches and dullness are common this time of year, especially if you’ve been in transitional weather or have spent time outdoors, aka enjoying the summer season.

Exfoliating weekly with a nourishing scrub helps buff away buildup of sweat and products, while hydrating your skin at the same time.
Our Body Scrubs are infused with skin-loving oils that melt into the skin as you massage, making this step feel less like maintenance and more like a moment. Customers often say it “feels like butter” and leaves skin soft without stripping it.
Tip: Focus on areas like the elbows, knees, and upper arms where buildup is more common. Use gentle, circular motions on damp skin for best results.
2. Layer Your Moisture

Once you’ve exfoliated, your skin is primed to soak in all the good stuff, so don’t skip your body cream. Our aloe and niacinamide-rich formula helps deeply hydrate while restoring glow and increasing elasticity.
Niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, supports the skin barrier and improves texture—while aloe offers calming hydration, especially after sun exposure. Together, they make a dreamy duo for summer skin that’s soft, not sticky.
Tip: Apply your body cream on dried skin, outside of the shower, to help seal in moisture. Since our creams our packed with moisture, there's no need to remain damp or use outside moisture.
3. Don’t Forget SPF (Seriously)
While Naturale Goddace doesn’t currently offer SPF products, we will always advocate for skin health first.
After applying your body cream and letting it absorb, be sure to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (preferably mineral-based and SPF 30 or higher) to exposed areas like shoulders, arms, and chest.
SPF is one of the most powerful tools in preventing premature aging, sun spots, hyperpigmentation, and long-term skin damage—and it’s the perfect partner to your moisturizing rituals.
Tip: Our personal favorite is Black Girl Sunscreen because it dries clear and is infused with jojoba oil. (p.s. we get absolutely no commission for this, we just really enjoy their products)
